Best Gifts for the Beauty-Obsessed
With all the makeup, gift sets, and fragrances on the market, sometimes it can seem a bit overwhelming to go holiday shopping for the beauty-obsessed on your list. I've narrowed down what I think are some great gift ideas for every budget, and every person.
GLAMGLOW Let it Glow! SUPERMUD Set ($69)
Even though they are a bit pricey, when it comes to facial masks & treatments, GLAMGLOW really delivers. The "Supermud" is pore-cleansing and detoxing, and makes your face feel so dang squeaky-clean. The "Thirstymud" is also amazing for hydrating your skin in these bitter winter months. This set is sure to bring a smile to the skincare-obsessed person in your life. But not too big of a smile....smiling causes wrinkles ;)
Best gift for.....someone who has 37 eyeshadow palettes:
ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette ($42)
This is such a beautiful palette. The shades are really versatile, in that you can get so many looks from it--neutral tans to edgy maroons, pinks and corals. The packaging is very pretty, and it's in a light pink sort of velour-feeling case. The shadows are high-pigment and crease-resistant. The two light shimmer shades are perfect for your inner lids where you want a little sparkle. 10 out of 10 gift recommendation!
Best gift for....your vegan friend who is adventurous with makeup:
KAT VON D Rock Candy Studded Kiss Lipstick Set ($27)
How great is this mini-lipstick set!? The colors are bold and include a purple and grey. I'm in love with the studded color-match packaging. They're so pretty, you can even display them when you're done with the actual lipsticks. Kat Von D makeup is vegan and cruelty-free.
Best gift for....the perfume enthusiast:
VICTOR AND ROLF Flowerbomb ($30 and up, depending on size)
Best gift for the.....makeup-obsessed:
BEAUTY BLENDER Midas Touch Holiday Gift Set ($25)
Any true makeup junkie will tell you...applying foundation, concealer, and powder just isn't the same without a Beauty Blender. They came out with this cute little gift that contains an original beauty blender and a mini solid cleanser in holiday ornament. Ho-ho-ho-yeah.
Best gift for.....the low-key beauty:
LANCOME Juicy Shaker ($22)
This is a great gift for someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup but wants a little something extra to use in place of a lip balm or chapstick. You shake up the container, and apply the lip oil which gives a non-sticky shine and a sheer tint of color to lips. It's easy to use, and gives your lips a really pretty look.
Best gift for.....your most sparkly friend who loves to have a holiday glow:

Becca highlighters are the besssst. They give a more natural, glowy look than some others on the market. It never looks cakey, and blends seamlessly with your other makeup. This set features both the liquid luminizer and their best-selling pressed highlighter in travel-friendly sizes.
