Products I'm Loving: Fall Favorites

Hello my loves. Sorry it's been a minute...between work, friends, family, and my new amazingly adorable sweet little rescue pup Beasley, I've been VERY busy. I totally now get why new parents are always posting baby pictures on Facebook. I feel like the sole purpose of the internet now is to share pictures of him. He's my bud.

Anywayyyys, it's been a while since I put together a little list of some products or things I'm currently into, so a-here we goooo Mario....

1. Urban Decay Primer Potion - Sephora or Ulta ($12 or $20 depending on size)

It always amazes me when I find a product that works wonders, and it took me so long to start using it. If you're not already using an eyelid primer, you should really consider.

In the past, I always just thought, hey, whatever, I'll just use foundation or face primer on my lids. I didn't think I needed a SPECIFIC primer just to keep my eyeshadow on. I was wrong.

Just a touch of this primer all over my lids, and my shadow was not only completely crease-free the entire day, it had also made my shadow colors much more vibrant. Apply it all over your entire eye area, lid right on up to your eyebrow. Just make sure it dries before you apply your eyeshadow.

2. Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Perfume - Sephora ($25-$115 depending on size)
Have you ever smelled a perfume for the first time and you're like.....shit. I'm going to have to buy this aren't I?

Oh my. Black Opium is to die for. I'm not even a super perfume-y kind of lady. For the past few months I've just been wearing Victoria's Secret "Tease" Body Spray (which smells amazing by the way).

I got a sample of the Black Opium with a Sephora order a while back, used it, and immediately went online to purchase it. When I saw the two smaller sizes were sold out, I decided to patiently wait instead of spending the big bucks on the larger size. I'm happy to say the $25 purse-size is back in stock and ready for your (and my) poor ass.

It's hard to really explain a perfume through's a mixture of sexy, musky, floral, Mary Kate Olsen, a field, cedar wood, a hot guy...I don't know, just try to smell it or buy it. It's awesome.

3. NYX Slide-On Pencil in "Pure White" - Ulta, Drugstore ($8)

It took a while for me to realize that using black eyeliner on the inner rim of my eyes was making my eyes look smaller. Don't get my wrong, when I'm going for a smokey look, I'm gonna get all up in there with black smudgey liner.

But for an everyday look, you'd be amazed how much a white liner - just on your water line - will make your eyes pop and look bigger and brighter. Just apply some eyeshadow or liner right underneath where you apply the white.

4. Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Products Trader Joe's Stores ($3.99 each)

If there's one store I wish we had here in NEPA, it would most definitely be Trader Joe's. Every time I'm out of town and see one, I stock up. They don't have an online store, so the next time you're in Philly or NY, google the closest store and head in.

There's a lot of products I love from TJ's, but their beauty/bath products are really great buys. The Tea Tree Tingle shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are wonderful. They're made with tea tree oil, peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, and thyme, and are so refreshing and invigorating. Great way to wake up.

5.. NARS Audacious Lipstick in "Claudia" - Sephora ($32)

You know that feeling when you get a gift card and you're so happy because you can finally pick up that pricey product that you felt too guilty to buy with real money? Enter NARS Audacious Lipstick. I have never really owned a super high-end lipstick like this before. My most expensive lip products are usually never more than $20-22.

After my first swipe, I immediately knew why this lipstick is so expensive. Let me just start with the black case. Sleek, sexy, shiny, and has a magnetic cover. I know it sounds silly but it's more of an experience applying this lipstick. It feels good in your hand. Makes you want to take your time.

It's super creamy and highly pigmented, with no strange or off-putting scent. Just a swipe and you're good to go. It's hydrating without being glossy, and 'Claudia' is just the right color pink for me. If you just got paid and you're looking to make a splurge purchase, I'd recommend this. Treat yoself.

That's all for this week babes. Cheers! Xx
